I chose this book because it is an action packed thriller about a soldier in WWII. It was an interesting book about his journey and survival through the war. I recommend reading this book if you are interested in the topic of American History and war.

Blog Assignment #3: Catcher in the Rye

Catcher in the eye is one of my favorite books and I like the surreal dream Holden Caulfield describes in the book which the title comes from. The dream he describes is himself protecting children who are playing in a rye field near a cliff and he stops the from going over the edge. It's such an intriguing image and I've never seen it illustrated.

I like Mark's "New York State of Mind" because it depicts his own image of New York in a very detailed manner.  I also like Cade's "Eye of the Tiger" because the depiction is neat and pops out at you. I also like the song too. Philip Smith Period 6.
